The archaeological site reveals Phoenician and Roman remains. Then walk down through Alfama's medieval alleys, the oldest neighborhood in Lisbon, spared by the 1755 earthquake. Blue azulejos on every façade, laundry hanging from balconies, and stops at the Santa Luzia and Portas do Sol viewpoints for spectacular views.
