Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 Old Town & City Walls
Morning Tour des remparts
Walk the Dubrovnik city walls (2 km loop), one of the finest medieval fortification systems in the world. Views over terracotta rooftops, the turquoise Adriatic, and Lokrum Island.
Afternoon Stradun & Palais des Recteurs
Explore the Old Town: Stradun (main street), Rector's Palace, Sponza Palace, Franciscan Monastery with Europe's third-oldest pharmacy (1317).
Evening Coucher de soleil au Fort Lovrijenac
Sunset drinks at Buža Bar (literally a hole in the wall — you climb through the city wall to reach a cliff-side bar over the sea).
Day 2 Islands & Kayaking
Morning Île de Lokrum
Sea kayak along the Dubrovnik walls from the water. Paddle to Lokrum Island (a nature reserve with peacocks, a botanical garden, and a Game of Thrones Iron Throne replica).
Afternoon Kayak le long des remparts
Take the cable car to Mount Srđ (412 m) for panoramic views of the city, islands, and coastline. Visit the small war museum at the summit.
Evening Bar Buža & fruits de mer
Dinner in the Old Town: fresh Adriatic seafood, black risotto (squid ink), and local Plavac Mali wine from Pelješac peninsula.
Day 3 Elaphiti Islands
Morning Téléphérique du Mont Srđ
Day trip to the Elaphiti Islands: Koločep (car-free paradise), Lopud (sandy beach), and Šipan (the largest, with olive groves and vineyards).
Afternoon Tour Game of Thrones
Swim in hidden coves, snorkel in turquoise waters, explore medieval churches and captain's houses. The Elaphiti feel like a secret Mediterranean paradise.
Evening Promenade & dîner à Lapad
Return to Dubrovnik for a farewell walk along the Stradun at night. The marble street gleams under lamplight — magical and much quieter after the day-trippers leave.
Day 4 Pelješac & Ston
Morning Excursion aux îles Élaphites
Day trip to the Pelješac peninsula: visit Ston and its 5.5 km medieval walls (the "European Great Wall"), then taste oysters fresh from the bay.
Afternoon Plage de Banje & détente
Wine tasting on Pelješac: the Dingač and Postup appellations produce Croatia's best red wine (Plavac Mali grape). Visit a family winery among the steep coastal vineyards.
Evening Dîner d'adieu sur le port
Return to Dubrovnik. Last sunset from the old port — fishing boats, the fortified walls glowing orange, and the Adriatic stretching to the horizon.
