Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 Arrival & first night on the Hotel Zone
Morning Arrival & resort check-in
Welcome to Cancún! Land at Cancún International Airport and take a private transfer to your resort on the Zona Hotelera — the 22km strip of luxury hotels between the Caribbean Sea and the Nichupté Lagoon. For a bachelor group, all-inclusive resorts like the Hyatt Zilara (adults-only), Hard Rock Hotel, or Grand Oasis are ideal — open bars, pools, and party vibes included. Check in, claim your rooms, and hit the pool bar for your first margarita under the Mexican sun.
Afternoon Beach & pool party at the resort
Soak up your first Caribbean afternoon. The Zona Hotelera beaches have powdery white sand and turquoise water that looks unreal. Settle into the resort life — swim in the infinity pool, grab tacos and ceviche at the pool restaurant, and enjoy the unlimited cocktails. Most luxury resorts have afternoon DJ sets and pool activities. If you're at the Grand Oasis or Hard Rock, the in-house party scene starts early. Get your tans going and your group energy building.
Evening First night at Coco Bongo
Kick off the Cancún nightlife with the most famous venue in town: Coco Bongo. This isn't just a club — it's a full-on Las Vegas-style show with acrobats, confetti cannons, live music, celebrity impersonators, and an insane light show, all while you dance with an open bar in hand. The energy is absolutely electric and the show runs non-stop from 10:30pm until 3:30am. For bachelor groups, the Gold Member VIP package gets you a dedicated area and premium drinks. This is THE Cancún experience.
Day 2 Water sports & club night
Morning Resort brunch & beach
Sleep in and enjoy the all-inclusive brunch at your resort — omelette stations, fresh tropical fruits, chilaquiles, and bottomless mimosas. Then claim sunbeds on the beach and ease into the day. The Caribbean water is warm year-round (26-29°C) and the color is almost supernatural. Float in the turquoise waves with the group and recharge after last night's Coco Bongo madness.
Afternoon Jet ski & parasailing
Time for adrenaline on the water! The Zona Hotelera beaches are lined with water sports vendors. The must-do combo for a bachelor group: jet ski racing along the coast (30 minutes of pure speed and competition), followed by parasailing over the Caribbean — you fly 80 meters above the turquoise water with a panoramic view of the entire hotel strip. Some vendors offer banana boats and flyboard sessions too. It's the perfect afternoon to burn energy and create unforgettable group memories.
Evening Party Mile — Mandala & The City
Tonight, explore Cancún's legendary Party Mile on Boulevard Kukulcán. Start with pre-drinks at Señor Frog's — the famously wild bar where the staff makes you do shots, dance on tables, and wear ridiculous hats. Pure bachelor party energy. Then move to Mandala — a multi-level club with excellent sound, light shows, and a more upscale crowd. Or go to The City Nightclub — one of Latin America's largest clubs with a 5,000-person capacity, pyrotechnics, and international DJs. Both have open bar packages that make the evening surprisingly affordable.
Day 3 Isla Mujeres — turquoise paradise
Morning Ferry to Isla Mujeres
Escape the party zone for a day and take the Ultramar ferry from Puerto Juárez to Isla Mujeres — a tiny, laid-back island 20 minutes off the coast. The ferry ride itself is scenic, with the Cancún skyline fading behind you. Once on the island, rent a golf cart (the classic way to explore) and drive to Playa Norte — consistently ranked among the world's most beautiful beaches. Crystal-clear shallow water, white sand, and zero waves. Park the cart, grab a beach hammock, and order fish tacos from the beachside vendors.
Afternoon Snorkeling & island tour by golf cart
After Playa Norte, drive the golf cart along the island's only road to the southern tip — Punta Sur. The cliffs overlooking the Caribbean are stunning and there's a small sculpture garden with Mayan-inspired art. Then stop at Garrafón Natural Reef Park or find a quieter snorkeling spot along the west coast — the coral reefs are home to colorful tropical fish, rays, and sometimes sea turtles. On the way back north, stop in the colorful downtown for shopping (hammocks, silver jewelry, Mexican crafts) and a cold cerveza at a rooftop bar overlooking the harbor.
Evening Island sunset & return
Before catching the ferry back, watch the sunset from Playa Norte — the west-facing beach turns golden as the sun drops into the calm Caribbean water. Grab a cocktail from one of the beach bars (Poc-Na or Buho's are the best spots) and enjoy the most peaceful evening of the trip. The vibe is barefoot, reggae music, and warm sand between your toes. Take the evening ferry back to Cancún and enjoy a chill night at the resort — tomorrow the party picks back up.
Day 4 Cenote & Playa del Carmen
Morning Swimming in a sacred cenote
Discover the Yucatán's most magical natural wonder: the cenotes. These ancient limestone sinkholes filled with crystalline freshwater were sacred to the Maya. Take a private van (1h south of Cancún) to Cenote Suytun — a cathedral-like underground cavern with a single beam of light illuminating a stone platform in the center of the water. Or try Cenote Ik Kil near Chichén Itzá for a dramatic open-sky swimming hole draped in hanging vines. Swimming in a cenote is a surreal, unforgettable experience — the water is cool, impossibly clear, and surrounded by ancient rock formations.
Afternoon Playa del Carmen & Fifth Avenue
Continue south to Playa del Carmen (40 min from the cenotes, 1h from Cancún) — the Riviera Maya's trendiest town. Walk along the Quinta Avenida (5th Avenue), a vibrant pedestrian street packed with shops, restaurants, and tequila bars. Stop for a late lunch at a rooftop restaurant — try cochinita pibil tacos (Yucatán-style slow-roasted pork) with an ice-cold michelada. The street art, live music, and bohemian energy make Playa a refreshing change from the hotel zone's all-inclusive bubble.
Evening Night out in Playa del Carmen
Stay in Playa del Carmen for the evening — its nightlife is more local and authentic than Cancún's tourist clubs. Start with cocktails at Dirty Martini on 12th Street, then head to the rooftop bars along 5th Avenue. For dancing, Palazzo is the main club with international DJs and a rooftop terrace, or try Bar Clandestino for a speakeasy vibe with craft mezcal cocktails. The streets between 10th and 14th are the party zone — bars spill onto the sidewalks and the whole area buzzes until 4am. Take a private van back to Cancún or stay at a boutique hotel if the group prefers.
Day 5 Catamaran party & tequila
Morning Recovery & resort brunch
After the Playa del Carmen evening, take a lazy morning at the resort. Enjoy the all-inclusive brunch at your own pace — huevos rancheros, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and strong Mexican coffee. Lounge by the pool, take a dip in the Caribbean, and recharge for this afternoon's big group activity. The resort life is here for moments like this.
Afternoon Catamaran party with open bar & snorkeling
THE group activity of the trip: a private or semi-private catamaran cruise on the Caribbean Sea. Sail along the Cancún coast for 3-4 hours with open bar, a DJ on board, snorkeling stops at the Underwater Museum (MUSA — submerged sculptures on the sea floor), and a stop at Isla Mujeres' Playa Norte. The open bar includes tequila, rum, beer, and fresh fruit cocktails mixed on board. Dancing on the deck, jumping off the boat, and toasting in the turquoise water — this is the ultimate Cancún bachelor experience.
Evening Tequila tasting & tacos in Downtown
Skip the hotel zone tonight and head to Downtown Cancún (El Centro) — where locals eat and drink. Start with a proper tequila tasting at La Destilería, where you'll learn the difference between blanco, reposado, and añejo while sampling premium small-batch tequilas and mezcals. Then dive into the Parque de las Palapas area for authentic street tacos — tacos al pastor (spit-roasted pork with pineapple), suadero (brisket), and marquesitas (Yucatán sweet crepes) for dessert. The taco stands are incredibly cheap and the flavors are on another level compared to the resort food.
Day 6 Adventure & last big night
Morning Jungle & zip-line at Xplor or Selvatica
Get the adrenaline pumping with a jungle adventure park. Selvatica (30 min from Cancún) offers the most extreme experience — the longest zip-line circuit in the Riviera Maya (12 lines through the jungle canopy), plus ATV rides through mud trails and a cenote splash. Alternatively, Xplor Park has zip-lines, underground river rafting, and amphibious vehicle courses. Both are world-class adventure parks set in the Yucatán jungle — a thrilling contrast to the beach and party scene.
Afternoon Luxury spa & getting ready for the last night
After the morning's jungle adventure, treat the group to an afternoon of luxury at the resort spa. Most high-end Cancún resorts have full-service spas with hydrotherapy circuits, massages, and relaxation areas overlooking the Caribbean. Book a group massage session — deep tissue to work out the zip-line adrenaline and the accumulated party fatigue. Then get ready for the final big night: this is the evening to pull out the best outfits and the matching group shirts/accessories.
Evening Luxury dinner & epic final night
The final night deserves a proper send-off. Start with a group dinner at Puerto Madero — Cancún's most renowned seafood restaurant right on the Nichupté Lagoon, with stunning sunset views from the terrace. Fresh lobster, Wagyu steak, and premium Mexican wine. After dinner, return to the Party Mile for one last legendary night. Hit Mandala for the rooftop, then end at Congo Bar or Dady'O — two classic Cancún clubs where confetti, foam parties, and pure chaos reign. Dance until sunrise, walk out onto the beach as the sun comes up over the Caribbean. The perfect ending.
Day 7 Last swim & departure
Morning Final brunch & beach
The final morning in paradise. Drag the crew to brunch one last time — the resort buffet awaits with all its glory. Then head to the beach for one last Caribbean swim. Float in the turquoise water, feel the warm sand, and take the final group photo with the Caribbean as backdrop. Soak up every last second of this place — you've earned it after a week of non-stop partying and exploring. Check out, collect your things, and get ready for the journey home.
Afternoon Last shopping & road to the airport
If you have time before your flight, make a quick stop at Mercado 28 in Downtown Cancún — a sprawling local market where you can buy authentic Mexican souvenirs: hand-painted skulls, silver jewelry, hammocks, hot sauces, vanilla extract, and bottles of premium mezcal. Haggling is expected and part of the fun. Then take your transfer to Cancún International Airport. Allow 2.5 hours before international flights. ¡Hasta pronto, Cancún!
Evening Return flight
Depending on your flight time, you'll head to the airport in the afternoon or evening. Cancún Airport has four terminals — international flights mostly depart from Terminal 3 or 4. The duty-free section has excellent tequila and mezcal selections if you haven't stocked up yet. Grab one last cerveza at the airport bar, scroll through the hundreds of photos and videos from the week, and start planning which group photo makes it to the frame. This Cancún bachelor trip will be talked about for decades. ¡Salud!
