  1. Day 1

    Arrival & first steps in Ubud

    Arrival in Bali

    Land at Ngurah Rai Airport. Private transfer to Ubud through rice paddies and artisan villages. The air fills with incense from morning offerings.

    Check in to wellness retreat

    Check into your wellness retreat in the heart of Ubud's jungle. Open-air bungalow overlooking the canopy, sounds of the Ayung River below. First welcome Balinese massage to release travel tension.

    Plant-based dinner in the jungle

    First meal at Alchemy restaurant, Ubud's raw and plant-based cuisine reference. Colourful bowls, cold-pressed juices, refined-sugar-free desserts. Terrace surrounded by tropical greenery.

  2. Day 2

    Yoga, rice terraces & sound healing

    Morning

    Sunrise yoga at The Yoga Barn

    90-minute vinyasa flow session in Bali's largest yoga studio. Open-air room facing the jungle, bamboo floors, golden morning light. Internationally certified teachers.

    Afternoon

    Meditative walk through Tegallalang rice terraces

    Slow, mindful walk through the UNESCO-listed terraced rice paddies. Breathing exercises facing the emerald-green panorama. The 1,000-year-old subak irrigation system creates a landscape of perfect harmony.

    Evening

    Tibetan singing bowl sound healing

    One-hour sound healing session at Pyramids of Chi. Lying inside a bamboo pyramid, vibrations from Tibetan bowls, gongs and chimes wash through the body. Deep meditative experience.

  3. Day 3

    Sacred purification & traditional healing

    Morning

    Purification ritual at Tirta Empul

    Take part in the melukat, a Balinese Hindu purification ritual in the sacred springs of Tirta Empul. Pass under each of the 13 holy fountains while reciting prayers. The spring waters are believed to purify body and spirit.

    Afternoon

    Session with a Balian (traditional healer)

    Consultation with a Balian, a traditional Balinese healer. Blend of Ayurvedic medicine, energy reading and herbal remedies. Unique spiritual experience passed down through generations.

    Evening

    Sacred cacao ceremony

    Join a cacao ceremony at The Yoga Barn or a dedicated space in Ubud. Ceremonial cacao, prepared with spices and intentions, opens the heart and fosters introspection. Live music and guided meditation.

  4. Day 4

    Mindful walking & art therapy

    Morning

    Mindful walk on Campuhan Ridge

    Gentle sunrise hike along Campuhan Ridge, a mythical trail between two valleys. Tall grasses gilded by morning light, 360° panorama over jungle and rice fields. Mindfulness exercises along the way.

    Afternoon

    Batik workshop & art therapy

    Creative workshop in a Balinese craft studio. Learn the wax-resist batik dyeing technique while practising mindfulness through art. Create your own unique piece to take home.

    Evening

    Healthy Balinese cooking class

    Cooking class at Bali Asli or Paon Bali: visit the local market to buy ingredients, then cook traditional dishes in an open-air kitchen. Focus on plant-based recipes, anti-inflammatory spices and ancestral techniques.

  5. Day 5

    Transfer to Sidemen — Rural serenity

    Morning

    Final yoga session in Ubud & transfer

    Morning yin yoga session to close your Ubud stay. Then drive to Sidemen (1.5h), a peaceful village nestled in a valley at the foot of Mount Agung. The scenery shifts dramatically: endless rice fields and absolute silence.

    Afternoon

    Check-in & rice paddy meditation

    Check into an eco-lodge with direct views of the rice terraces and Mount Agung. Free afternoon for guided meditation among the fields. Sidemen's silence, far from mass tourism, is striking.

    Dinner with a Balinese family

    Authentic experience: dinner prepared by a Sidemen family in their traditional compound. Homemade nasi campur, garden vegetables, fresh sambal. Cultural exchange about rural Balinese life and daily rituals.

  6. Day 6

    Mount Agung & nature immersion

    Morning

    Sunrise trek to Bukit Cinta

    Gentle climb to the Bukit Cinta ('Hill of Love') viewpoint. At sunrise, Mount Agung is silhouetted behind a sea of rice paddies. One of the most stunning panoramas in eastern Bali.

    Hike and swim at Tukad Cepung Waterfall

    Descend into a secret canyon to Tukad Cepung Waterfall. Water falls inside an open cave, sunrays filter through rocks creating rainbows. Refreshing swim in a surreal setting.

    Yoga Nidra & deep relaxation

    Yoga Nidra ('yogic sleep') session in your eco-lodge's pavilion. 45 minutes of guided relaxation lying down, equivalent to 3 hours of deep sleep. The sound of crickets and river accompanies the practice.

  7. Day 7

    Water palaces & royal Balinese treatments

    Morning

    Visit Tirta Gangga water palace

    Explore Tirta Gangga, a royal water palace built in 1946. Pools fed by sacred springs, sculpted fountains, lush gardens and rice paddy views. Swimming possible in the natural spring pools.

    Traditional royal Lulur treatment

    Experience the Lulur, a Javanese royal beauty treatment practised since the 17th century. Turmeric and sandalwood scrub, yoghurt mask, frangipani flower bath. Silk-smooth skin.

    Candlelit meditation & journaling

    Introspective evening in your bungalow or eco-lodge pavilion. Guided candlelit meditation followed by a journaling session. Ginger and lemongrass herbal tea to accompany reflection.

  8. Day 8

    Road to Munduk — Mountains & hot springs

    Morning

    Scenic transfer to Munduk

    Drive to northern Bali through the mountains (3h scenic route). Pass by Batur volcano, coffee plantations and clove forests. The air cools at altitude — welcome to highland Bali.

    Air Panas Banjar hot springs

    Relax in the natural hot springs of Air Panas Banjar. Three stone pools fed by sulphurous springs at 38°C, surrounded by tropical jungle. The volcanic hot water deeply relaxes muscles.

    Mountain-view dinner in Munduk

    Dinner at a local warung perched on Munduk's hills. Northern Balinese cuisine: bumbu grilled fish, jackfruit lawar, vegetables sautéed with galangal. Views over valleys and coffee plantations at sunset.

  9. Day 9

    Waterfalls & nature therapy

    Morning

    Trek to Sekumpul Waterfall

    45-minute jungle trek to reach Sekumpul, Bali's most majestic waterfall. Seven 80m-high falls plunge into a pool surrounded by moss-covered cliffs. Invigorating swim in the cool water.

    Afternoon

    Coffee plantation & jamu workshop

    Visit a Munduk coffee and spice plantation. Discover artisanal roasting processes, then join a jamu-making workshop — a traditional medicinal drink made with turmeric, ginger, tamarind and honey.

    Evening

    Outdoor breathwork session

    Breathwork session (holotropic or adapted Wim Hof breathing) in your lodge's garden. The fresh mountain air and nocturnal birdsong create an ideal setting for this transformative breathing practice.

  10. Day 10

    Lake temples & inner reflection

    Morning

    Ulun Danu Bratan Temple at sunrise

    Visit the floating temple of Ulun Danu Bratan, an icon of Bali. At sunrise, the temple appears to float on the misty lake with mountains as backdrop. A moment of contemplation in one of the island's most spiritual places.

    Meditative kayaking on Lake Buyan

    Peaceful kayaking on Lake Buyan, a crater lake surrounded by dense forest. Mirror-calm water, morning mist and total silence. Paddle gently, watch the birds and let nature work its therapy.

    Slow, silent walk through the tropical forest around Munduk at sunset. Shinrin-yoku (Japanese forest bathing) practice: touch the mossy trunks, breathe in the phytoncides, listen to the concert of insects and frogs.

  11. Day 11

    Road to Canggu — Coastal wellness

    Morning

    Transfer to Canggu

    Drive to the south-west coast (2.5h). Transition from misty mountains to volcanic black sand beaches. Canggu is Bali's modern wellness hub: yoga studios, healthy cafes, international wellness digital nomad community.

    Surf initiation at Batu Bolong waves

    Beginner surf lesson on Batu Bolong beach, an ideal spot with regular, gentle waves. Surfing is a form of active meditation — focus, breathing and connection with the ocean. Patient and caring local instructor.

    Sunset & healthy dinner at Echo Beach

    Settle into a laid-back Echo Beach beach club for sunset. Local surfers ride the last golden waves. Healthy dinner at The Shady Shack or Crate Café: bowls, smoothies, creative plant-based cuisine.

  12. Day 12

    Uluwatu — Cliffs, temples & ocean

    Morning yoga session in a shala perched on Uluwatu's cliffs. The open-air room overlooks the Indian Ocean, the sound of waves replaces music. Morning flow followed by meditation facing the blue void.

    Uluwatu Temple & cliff walk

    Explore Pura Luhur Uluwatu temple, perched 70m above the ocean. One of Bali's six directional protective temples. Cliff-side path with dizzying views of waves crashing below.

    Kecak fire dance at sunset

    Hypnotic Kecak fire dance performance in Uluwatu temple's natural amphitheatre. 70 men chant 'cak cak cak' in chorus, telling a Ramayana story. The sun plunges into the ocean as backdrop — a moment of collective trance.

  13. Day 13

    Spa day & integration

    Full spa morning

    Entire morning dedicated to well-being in a renowned Bali spa. Programme: Balinese essential oil massage (60 min), sea salt and coconut scrub (30 min), frangipani flower bath (30 min). Total relaxation.

    Free afternoon to integrate the trip's experiences. Settle into a quiet café or by the pool with your journal. Re-read your notes from the past 12 days, identify practices you wish to keep in your daily life.

    Final gourmet dinner at Locavore NXT in Seminyak, the laid-back version of the starred Locavore restaurant. Reinvented local cuisine with 100% Indonesian ingredients: smoked tempeh, fermented vegetables, avocado and pandan ice cream.

  14. Day 14

    Final meditation & departure

    Sunrise beach meditation

    Final seated meditation on Batu Bolong's black sand at sunrise. First golden light over the ocean, the sound of waves and the scent of incense from morning offerings. Close this inner journey in full gratitude.

    Afternoon

    Last healthy brunch & airport transfer

    Farewell brunch at a healthy Canggu café: açai bowl, avocado toast, turmeric detox juice. Then transfer to Ngurah Rai Airport (45 min from Canggu). Take two weeks of inner peace home with you.

    Return flight

    Board the return flight. From the window, Bali's rice paddies and volcanoes disappear beneath the clouds. Two weeks of wellness retreat come to an end — but the practices you've learnt will stay with you daily.
